It took me a little bit to get to this one, but we've got a nice 319 (159 going out the door) card deal added into the mix:
Luke's a relatively recent trade partner, and a good one. I love a fellow set collector and I'm always willing to help.
Here's what it looks like when I pack up 159 cards:
Big mail day alert! Anytime a deal can't fit into a PWE includes a good chance the set collector in me is very happy. You'll have to bear with me on the length here, lol. The set collector in me is quite happy.
I always appreciate the supplies that arrive in deals. In this case, the team bags will go into my reuse pile......to deployed later as needed. Might be for trades, might be for the custom supplies I use to sort my cards, might be for cards themselves. All part of the fun.
Lotta fun 90's cards in this trade. As I've noted before, late 90's and 2000's basketball cards are my favorite era of cards. Post junk wax. Pre junk wax returns. The players. The Bucks teams. The style. Finest, Metal, Chrome, and all kinds of random fun to be found.
There's a couple-three 90's players that get top loaded and added into the milwaukee bucks corner of the PC.
Speaking of the 2000's.
Can't leave the 2000's section without taking a peak at the splash mountain RC, and a few fun bucks n six PC items.
We're into the 2010's now. Late 90's and 2000's > 2010's > 2020's. This decade has a bunch of quality RCs, including ya boi the greek freak.
While we didn't score a giannis RC, I did advance some of the sets his rookie cards are in. Here's the current state of each set pictured here, including a ✅ if I have a antetokounmpo RC in that set and a ❌ if I don't:
- 2013-14 Hoops (79/301 26.2%) ✅
- 2013-14 Panini (115/200 57.5%) ✅
- 2013-14 Panini Prestige (92/200 46%) ✅
- 2013-14 Panini Prizm (36/297 12.1%) ❌
The 2010's are closed out with some of the more interesting mke cards in the batch. Tony Snell RC stand up!
As we enter the 2020's, we'll start with some 2020-21 Donruss Optic parallels. I've already completed the base set and as I get parallels or inserts, I load them into the Optic binder.
Same story for 2020-21 Panini Illusions. The base set is completed and a few Sapphire joine their friends.
While I have completed the Mosaic set from the same year, I have not given them the proper binder treatment yet. These are set aside as part of that binder project - should I ever get to it.
We close out with a few more cards to add to the bucks n six pile of cardboard.
Shout out to Luke. Fun deal, lotta depth, spanning the ages. This is our 4th deal completed and I'm looking forward to the next.
