Jul 30, 2026: purple tape

Today was a pretty good day at [redacted] all things considered. Small, yet important, level up.

I need to get my home office situated. I've been neglecting getting it setup and survive on a laptop along with a my tiny card desk/workspace. It works, just not as well as it could. We might not be back to the office for weeks and that fact reminds me of my slacking more acutely.

Said home office is currently eeeeeeeemma's art studio. I look forward to sharing our creative spaces together.

As I got to packing up the first trade above, I briefly lost my favorite purple tape. I guarantee my favorite purple tape has been in dozens of photos of cards logged here at this point. While we are on the topic of tape: Fleet Farm is my favorite place to buy tape, specifically my favorite purple tape.

For the record.

All that to say, purple tape made me think of the purple tape, which led me to play the album that's in the argument for greatest album of all time. Maybe the most influential, at least to me, if nothing else.

This album will be 31 years old in two days. I'll be 48 in three.
