In the second deal of the day with Brian, our sixth, I find a jazz and cardinals fan.
Fun deal. Looking forward to opening this one up.
The first deal of the day starts off with Jon, our fourth.
A mostly baseball deal, with a bit of football, and basketball sprinkled in - is going to be of help with a few sets I'm chasing.
Before we sign off, a bit of a larger deal with Jack - our fourth.
Baseball, basketball, football, MMA, non-sport, and even soccer on their way to Jack in this one. Who doesn't like a good bit of biodiversity?
After a brief back and forth with Gerald, we kicked off our first trade together.
And with that, a decent batch of baseball goes out the door in two PWEs.
Another quick deal as we close the trade evening, this time with Chris (our first!).
Hey look at that, a photo! Nice job cardattack.
peter in a package leaving the front door? Must be coolio on the return.
Speaking of forgetting to take a photo, it's about a 10% failure rate at this point - this next deal with Aaron being one of those failures. Gotta fix this process somehow. 🫠
I believe this would be my first all manning deal for me and my seventh with Aaron.
Fun return package.
Almost forgot to snap a pick of the next deal with Tim - our third together.
I send him some baseball, preferably pirates it turns out, and he sends me some cool shit back.
I'll be honest with you, two straight days without trades isn't helping me keep up with the trade backlog. Luckily, I've got a few quickies like this one for one deal with don.
First deal together, small one, and he will be hooking me up with an assist to aid my adventures all the same.
scroll amendment · 2026-06-25Shouts to all of the Donalds in my life. They outnumber the Josephs! We close the deals today with a quick deal with Matt. Matt is an absolute tcdb legend.
This is our fifth deal together. Mostly I think we don't overlap as much because of how similar some of our chases are. 😎
Great dude.
Marc was kind enough to hook me up with a banger of a deal. This one is my favorite of today's batch, easy.
jordan? wemby? ......and chris sanders. lol
There's a banger headed this way.
Wait?!?!? I'm trading a what away?
I'm not sure I remember trading away any bucks cards, but I had a double of this and I'm on a mission. The return package scratches that itch for me.
Oh, and maybe I'm not all that dame, regardless of his affiliation with my favorite team.
I appreciate Trevor accepting a small deal to help a partner out.
Let's get today's trade out of the way straight out the gates. Jason is one of those trade partners that knows exactly what he wants and how he values his cards. From there, always a deal to be found.
This is the thirteenth example of his excellence as a trade partner. Good dude. I was glad to see his name show up.
We stop back state-side with Zach, another first timer. I continue to be pleasantly surprised how many first timers I come across on my journey. Zach has 368 completed transactions, and here I am for a first.
Ooh! I remembered to snap a photo! Diverse little batch of cards on their way to finding a new home.
I made a point to move the great re-org project along again. I've evolved my project process to be much more fluid over the last six months or so. What often feels like chaos is easily compartmentalized for me later, and my approach also allows for massive growth on all of the different narrative branches I have been cultivating.
In laymans terms......
......check out my i am groot pile! It would be much more, but ya boi is hard to come by.
🌈 we are groot 🌈
I've got giannis antetokounmpo cards all over the place. Found a stack of his 2019-20 cards that I couldn't find in a previous release of this project, so now it's part of the current release of this project.
I've done a good bit of processing since the trade and I think I've got clear eyes about where I stand. lulu already sent me down a miami heat rabbit hole chasing king james so that part isn't all that bad.
I'm sure I will continue with more here as it pours out of me.
I remain a hunter, regardless of team.
Quick pitstop with a couple of former brewers:
Good fellas.
I added a small component after the comments section below to show a 10 day look at tcdb trades and the total cards involved in deals coming across my desk.
Why? Because there are a lot of cards flowing these days and I wanted to see it in chart form. That's why.
Iterate.
We keep it moving with a trade with James, our seventh. Great name that James has.
It's a bit harder to tell what a Seattle sports fan we have here because I forgot to snap a photo of the cards themselves.
Those cards are always fun to see. I look forward to their .
Before we get into the trades from today (don't forget to check out the new charts below!), I watched nikkigirl use the site yesterday and as soon as she hit the card stuff, she peaced the fuck out - scrolling right past all of it. lol
Who else does that? Anyone? Or just my haterz? 🫠
The first deal of the day is with Colbey, our fourth. Colbey has quite a bit a and I'd love to do way more deals together than we do. Some things are easier said than done tho.
Where my French homies at?!?!? Thomas is here to represent.
European NBA centric trades are always appreciated. Not appreciated enough to snag a picture of the cards themselves in this case (lol), but check out this cardboard headed to Paris all the same.
This is my first trade with Thomas, and I think to the city of Paris itself as well.
🚨Lithuania here🚨
While France is probably my most frequent international trade country, Lithuania is probably my favorite. It's a mix of memorable partners, memorable trades, and memorable players from that general region. Who'd a thunk I'd be pushing 50 sending 165 cards halfway across the globe?
Anytime we have a deal approaching 200 cards, it's gonna be some fun set collector adventures inside the return batch. Plus, I'm almost always guaranteed to get a small subset of international cards that I'd struggle to get anywhere else but .
This is the longest I've gone between closed releases since the beginning of these chronicles. I've evolved my approach to be more flexible to the ebbs and flows of my overall motivation and whatever pockets of time I can find for this. I'd note that this also coincides with the general improvement of the individual narratives that continue to fork across the site. At some point, I'll put a touch more polish on few things and show just how many different branches of thought flow relatively seamlessly - alas, only so much time in the day.
You'll have to survive in the meantime. I have faith you will.
250 total chronicles as of today.
Point being, here's one small example of three narratives flowing one source of truth......
The first narrative = you right now. At least those of you who read every day. You see the mess. You see me give up. You see me come back to ketchup.
The second narrative is someone coming in fresh and theoretically starting from the first chronicle through today. I finished writing about jeff meff's volleyball tournament this past weekend today, and so for anyone that starts from the beginning, starting tomorrow......this content will always have existed. For those of you who are live, here's the two posts I retro-fitted tonight:
Which brings me to the third narrative, just the Windy City Round-Up tournament itself. Click that link and see it with a hyper focus.
v2.7.43 released.
I was pretty bad at grabbing photos today. Heads up, my error rate was higher than my typical baseline.
Hey is that a garbage pail kid? Cool!
Shouts to Romuald and our first deal together.
