This michael finley is a fun card all on it's own. Then add in a card (another auto) from the 2020-21 bucks championship and a numbered RC from the mid-2000's and I'd call that a win.
I owe Jonathan a response on another offer he dropped out there. I'll take another look before I find sleep tonight.
Let's keep the ball rolling with Steven who's gonna help me out with our seventh deal together.
Vintage football, some caitlin, and a few other cards go out the door. I bet caitlin will snag something cool, wonder what the rest will look like......
Greg stops by to accept a fun deal, our......wait for it......first! This first-timer is a bit surprising as Greg already has 786 completed transactions.
I gotta start receiving in at least one deal a day. The pile is real.
Let's start with the set progress made here:
There was also a whole lotta milwaukee bucks cards as that total continues to grow. I almost decided to add taurean prince to the snapshot table, and then didn't. Just not enough of him laying around here yet, plus, he just got traded.

I might hit Luke up with another offer here shortly.
Welcome into the tullyelly HOF Chris. The only current way to be inducted is to help me complete a set (we'll expand the induction methods over time).
While it's not the biggest set, every set that is completed is a complete set. As a complete set I've added it to my put this set into binders project epic......which only grows larger. Nahmean? 🫠
I don't wanna brag or nuttin', but I'm the 410th best jagr collector on tcdb. Only 2,954 away from first! While I doubt I will get to that one, I did log him into my PC snapshot for the first time today.
While it's hard to beat the last deal for deal of the day, this one found its way to the top of today's heart charts.
I don't wanna go to bed and it's getting late all the same. I won't be as in depth about how much fun this was as I would like, so you'll just have to trust me here. Some highlights:
There's bunch more set progress in here. There's a bunch more milwaukee bucks progress in there. There's a bunch more individual player fun......
The first deal I logged here tonight was from the stack pictured above. I couldn't quickly find the transaction number on the packaging so I had to open it to the point it just made sense to log 'em 'n sort 'em.
It's been too long since I logged some, any, of my return packages. I don't wanna let that pile keep growing and yet, grow it does.
Check out this deal for that chart climber jeff referenced in the sent portion of the proceeds. Or, if you are reading this inline with today's chronicles, just keep reading. Even better? Click the link and keep reading.
Otherwise, this ends up being a set collector return. Here's a few updates:
I noticed a month or so back that I had an outside shot at the top five jeff collectors out there and this all jeff trade helped me inch ever closer. I'm eight away from top five and based upon open deals and combing through the site, I don't think I'll quite get there on this pass.
For the past two days, I've been chipping away at some improvements to my tcdb rankings pages, starting with what I am now fully embracing: homies. This is the name of underlying "players" table - one of the oldest on the site. A few things have been added/refractored:
The /cardattack/homies route has been retired and replaced with /cardattack/homies
jeff meff doesn't have a dedicated piece of luggage so I pulled out an old standby and performed some minor repairs. Mixed within cards, repairs, and trips to the post, I also built up some spacing supplies.
Added all of the different display names any given tag(homie) may have
Added a section that holds all chronicles where a tag(homie) is mentioned
Tightened up the tcdb rank area and simplified the columns displayed
New chart showing all snapshots has arrived (not sure I like it)
Most of this won't matter to you, nor should it necessarily make any sense, but I like it. Click freak to see what ultimately matters most - the visible changes.
Good enough for now. Next up, clans.
scroll amendment · 2026-07-06lulurocks says lulu. Like she actually typed it.
As for clans, it's basically all of the above that happened in homies, except with clans. Clans being the teams that the homies(players) play for. Finally added ya bois:
That clan snapshot from above (total cards) needs to be improved so it works like this bucks link does. You should be able to click that blue milwaukee bucks like you can click this one. Ya got that?
Anywho, a bunch of work was done on clans(teams) today and if you want to see it live in action, click 👉🏾 fear the deer 👈🏾.
First deal with Bertrand. An international first timer is just a hint more enjoyable. Always glad to see the circle of trust expand just a little bit.
A whole bunch of 1989-90 Hoops and a few other early junk wax era cards heading to France as I continue the hunt for chart climbers and completed sets.
Back to talking to computers. What say you computer?
cipher saysReview how TCDB rankings are refreshed after new card data is added. This helps make sure the current approach works now while avoiding performance problems as the data grows.
Who doesn't love a bit of long-term efficiency gains? Let's get ahead of it, son.
This one was a bigger change than I originally anticipated. For whatever that's worth.
Today starts with me finishing up the clans work from yesterday. You can now click the resulting content to take you to the clan referenced in any given snapshot.
For the nerds in the audience, this......

......turns into 👇🏾 that 👇🏾 ......
I've chosen the heat as my example because freak chose his number for his new team: #7. Also, as you can see, I've got some work to do to rise up the list.
36 is always a fun number though.
Two other things:
I don't use GIFs enough
I replaced the emoji for first time clan snapshots
I don't wanna let projects linger without activity so I got back to making my next giannis box today and wandered through my collection a bit as a result.
