As the great re-org continues, whenever I am required to go through my bledsoe cards, I am reminded just how stacked my collection of him is. Autographs, memorabilia, and numbered cards (especially low ones).

Production Release Plumbing

Today's work was getting the waiting analytics archive and site updates through a controlled release process:

Added a separate code-only deployment and rollback workflow with human approval, exact commit and artifact checksums, fresh database compatibility evidence, staged health checks, and production drift checks. Database migrations and credential maintenance retain separate approval paths; analytics collection stays disabled for the first code release.

Hardened the dedicated GitHub App's publication and dispatch checks, verified bot identity against GitHub metadata, and made failures report useful diagnostics without exposing credentials or subprocess output.

Fixed a maintenance workflow's runner context and added pinned GitHub Actions validation to the standard verification command so invalid workflow expressions fail before a build.

Taught health checks to verify the site's apex-to-www redirect while preserving the requested path and keeping staging credentials on the staged deployment.

Prepared and refreshed the first code-only release manifest, allowed its strictly validated database metadata through secret scanning, and rehearsed portable Vercel artifacts without production credentials. The latest build fix temporarily excludes only unchanged, tracked environment templates, restores them after failures or cancellation, and keeps artifact diagnostics free of sensitive paths and values.

Merges no longer trigger automatic Vercel deployments. This work is still awaiting deployment; the analytics archive, owner controls, and public statistics remain pending too. Analytics activation still needs its own database history reconciliation, credential rotation, restore rehearsal, and approved release.
