Jun 01, 2026: pragmatic

I had someone that I respect and think highly of at [redacted] note recently that they liked my pragmatic approach to leadership and problem solving. Point being, I needed a word or two for today's chronicle title and that bit of data floated to the top.

Overall, today was a great day. I received good news for myself personally, had a new member of my team start today, and I learned a bit more about a few of my newest teammates.

I also took some time to take a quick walk down to my newest most used mailbox to drop off a trade or two.

There's a lot to like about my newest career path. Including it's close proximity to my favorite mailing systems.

Yesterday, I learned I needed to clean-up one of my hockey sets as I prepared for a trade.

Sorted and situated. We may now safely move along to what comes next.

There is so much pain and suffering around me. I've been acutely aware of it since before I could even articulate it. I have no idea what to do with that information.

I'm in a reflective mood. I never know if I like what I see when I peer inside myself like this.

No matter what happens next, the odds are good it'll have some pragmatism sheen to it. lulz
