Aug 30, 2026: the eye
Sunday's are a bit like the calm within the eye of the storm. A step or two removed from the last battle and one step away from the next.
So remember how I stayed up too late last night? Well, I hadn't accounted for the fact that this fern fella was waiting in bed and would need some love and affection VERY early in the morning. I'm just gonna note that this is a lot of tongue that early in the morning, son.
Here's the thing though - we taught him to "shake" this week and he's really turning a corner since the majority of his teething has passed.
I'm smitten.
One of the things that mr. fern gully needs to learn is that life isn't all about him. It's a lesson we could all use a good reminder of every now and again, but that's another story for another time.
Point being, we came to agreement that he would be a good boi and I would make a Topps binder.
I'm pretty sure I picked up a wolverine action figure the same day I picked up this binder from Walmart. Good marketing and a perfectly sized binder.
For those with a sharp eye, the eye perhaps - you'll note a decent batch of fun in that base set.
