Aug 31, 2026: uncomfortable
I don't mind being uncomfortable. I often think that my inclination to shake things up comes directly from this same space. I am not comfortable unless I am uncomfortable. Ever since the beginning.
Luckily for me, that comfort with uncomfort can often be an advantage in the workplace. Out last them I say.
Between travel, vacation days, and illness - I haven't been in the office in many days. Not just the office, office, but the post office as well!
I had a nice conversation with one of the fellas that works there and things are starting to settle a little bit further back into normalcy. At least for the Menasha postal worker.
As nikkigirl continues to battle the sickness I am still slightly recovering from, she's in bed early tonight.
Which made the chronicle tonight a little bit difficult to get off the ground. At least guilt-free. He was not pleased with me.
He's with us all week while lulu & p-funk go on vacation to take over the world or something.
I gotta go though, fern needs extra special attention tonight. He's supper uncomfortable not being at the center of it.
