Quick pitstop to finish up the 2020-21 basketball cards from wiscopullz that I started yesterday:
Binder szn was the result.
To close the keep my hands busy (and my mind free) evening, I returned to sorting my large lot from wiscopullz.
Wait, hol' up. Let's check in on my newest number one added to the database. A whopping seven cards gets me to the top spot on the charts for the man with best nickname on the bucks, dairy bird.
Shouts to your 2020-21 champs and all of the thousands of cards I have from that year. We're up to 5,925 cards from the championship year at this point at this point. Binders busting at the seams. Boxes overflowing. They are every where.
Chris stopped by today wondering if I was still interested in an offer he sent and I tentatively accepted while I was in Vegas I think. While I've turned off any new offers coming through, I'm still trying to hook the homies up when I can.
The first deal with Chris was a quick and clean pull. Out the door you go.

Also, at sixth on the tcdb rankings for peter, I've pretty much peaked where I will naturally. If I wanted to break into the top five I'd have to really lock in via eBay or card shows because I have mostly soaked up the cards I can with my natural trade partners.
Before we get to the real fun of tonight, I pulled a deal with Matt out of the archives (our third):
I didn't quite get to the end of this one so we will return back to finish it tomorrow. If I remember correctly, there's a bug when it comes to multiple entries against one side of a deal - pretty sure something doesn't show up appropriately. Guess we will find out.
Before the last deal of the night with Joseph (our fifth), I had to turn off trades on tcdb because I get sad when I can't get to deals fast enough. I'm falling behind......
In the meantime, Joseph showed up and said: send any 3 HOFer and these cards are yours. You better believe I found 3 for him as requested.
My next deal of the night was another that I cooked up and offered to Charles. As a result, our third deal together.

As I was chasing the end of a set, I ended up at Rick's door for our fourth deal together.
Spoiler alert: he hooked me up. Quick, clean, and painless.
This next deal with Jody, our second, was a no brainer. Easy peasy.

Before I can close my weekend I have to make sure to meet the agreements with my trade partners - starting with my third deal with Eric.
I showed up at Eric's door asking for help closing a set and he came through in the clutch.

As noted on the sent side of this deal, there is so much packed in here that I wouldn't be able to get outside of my european friends. Plus, laszlo cards!

As a return to another side adventure - I got pulled back into sorting and loading cards. I have no idea why I am compelled to do this and I occasionally wonder if this entire endeaver is worth the effort.
So like I was saying: loading cards.
I still have a bleep ton of cards to load from my last wiscopullz deal and so I......got back to it.
I'd like to note that as soon as freak was traded to heat culture I have been on the case. I've risen from a rank of 36 on tcdb up to 24 in about two and a half months. On one hand, it will take me quite awhile to do real damage on these charts, and then on the other hand, I've immediately adjusted to my new realities.
The chase is on.
Before and after volleyball tonight, card stuffs. This particular deal was pulled out of my archives because I had not put it away yet and was actually completed pre-[redacted]. That feels like eons ago.
What a hell of a diverse trade. There's about a bajillion reasons to love this deal. Glad I got to pull it out of the archives.

While nikkigirl wonders how I turned into the guy that is doing happy hour with anyone, I had to keep the trade machine moving. I've recently made a decision to log more inbound deals into my systems. Well oops, the one inbound trade I captured for our consumption tonight took too long and now there's not outbound traffic. Time keeps on slipping......
All is not lost though, this was a fun deal. I believe I was chasing some logan when I proposed this one. Diverse and fun.
Spoiler alert: I always feel like I am running behind. In my first deal with with Ron (shouts to ron), I'm definitely running behind.
Regardless of how far behind I might be, this was a quick and clean deal. Ron shows up with an ask and I accept ASAP.
KIM (Keep It Moving)
As promised, here we have our first tullyelly hof member to be inducted on our first ever deal. Anthony is good people, it's official.
As a friendly reminder, one of the ways to get into my own persona hall of fame - okay, the only documented way - is to help me complete a set via trade.

My sixth deal with Santino will need to be enough today. I feel behind. I am behind. I'm right where I need to be.

Oh no! tcdb is down right now. How will I ever waste time shuffling cardboard from one sleeve and/or box to another sleeve and/or box? What if things weren't in the right order? Oh, the horror.
Okay, we are back. Crisis averted.
My fourth deal with Bradley was an easy one. He show's up with a need, I see my own need, and we navigate to a win for both parties. Even when I ran into a hiccup - both sides can benefit.
In another nikkigirl doesn't get the credit she deserves around here......I once told her that if she ever say any basketball cards with a for sale sticker on them, that meant I wanted them. Well, I've been in an odd mood this week and sure as shit:
Well, she saw a few somethings and hooked me up with some shit from Walgreens. Here's the adventure I went on next:
She sees the most me out of anyone. There's a depth of us that is unmatched across just about anyone that I know.
