Mar 30, 2026: the chase
I had my first team meeting with the entire crew for the first time in almost a month this morning. Vacations, travel, all-day meetings, and illness have kept us from joining up like Voltron. Plus, a new gentleman that officially starts next Monday, unofficially joined the meeting. He's an internal transfer and we are excited to have him.
Anywho, I used the opportunity to give a bit of a state of the union speech. It was written shortly before the meeting (just bullet points), mostly freestyled live and direct from there, and was quite good if I do say so myself. It was good practice for the wedding.
The chase begins.
Whole lotta mail day today, starting with an easy, pull, pack, and ship for Clay.
Nice simple, 2013 Topps Opening Day quickie. I might say yes to just about any deal that's quick and clean like this, regardless of what's coming back. Didn't hurt that Clay was quite generous with his offer on our 16th deal.

Plus, 1989 Upper Deck is pure nostalgia directly into my veins. Whole friendships sprang out of the beauty that is this junk wax.
As I thought about what to call today's blog, I thought about the thrill of the chase, which then had me thinking about an old favorite......
There's quite a bit of the previously mentioned nostalgia packed into this song. I got goosebumps as I listened to it and let the those old feelings wash over me.
