Mar 31, 2026: effective immediately
I had to terminate the contract of one of my guys today. It went down at the same time his official job offer was working its way through the system so we could convert him to a full time employee.
I did what was right for me today. I did what will have a significant negative impact on a family, at a terrible time, and to an individual I really enjoyed. An old boss of mine once told me: "The bus is leaving, with or without you. Make the call."
They made the call. 💔
Little man is back in the house this week.
Some fresh custom ja shoes have been awaiting his return. He was the talk of the town at practice tonight.
And then we had the special week girl in the house tonight. lulu is not pleased with me. I hope she will accept this as an apology.
A few days ago, I finished processing 1992 Courtside Draft Pix, and in the end loaded them into a box......that was given to me by today's trading partner, Matthew, in our last deal together. I don't want to spoil the return side, but it's......ah......aligned with that same box. Unintentionally.
Matthew came in clutch for me here on our 4th deal together. Solid.
Next deal out the door is for the first tcdb trade partner that I was kind of in awe of. When I joined, he was the far and away leader with the most giannis cards on the site. I once taunted Pete in the forums to let him know I was coming for his top spot, and I did it.
I hope he forgives me.
Anywho, there's a couple of tom brady's going out the door today, because Pete is helping me to close out a set on the other end. I'll help out a wolverines fan, no doubt.
This is our 5th deal together, but it's been a few years since Pete's been semi-retired from trading. I'm glad to see him back.
Next up, another offer that I initiated. More often than not lately, I wait for the offers to come to me than I do chase my own. I'm a little bit addicted to the thrill of the chase again. Can't stop, won't stop.
A little bit of this, and a little bit of that, along with a bunch of dame time going out the door in this deal.
It would appear to be my 1st deal with Kellen. Here's to many more.
