The day starts with the end of a long journey. Finally, all of derek's football cards have been sorted and loaded. Well this batch at least, lol.

All that was left today was a big pile of promo cards, both baseball and football. These kinds of cards can often hold surprising "value" because every now and again, I might be one of a handful of individuals that have some random promo cards for trade. It's also more likely you end up with 31 pieces of duplicate cardboard junk than not.

Both came true today.

As for the overall batch of cards I've been loading into tcdb for months now - I think it ended up being something like 8,000 - 10,000 total football cards added. Nice to see the final branches of this project tree eventually closing.

Almost every trade offer that I receive today includes at lease one of the cards I've been chipping away at for half a year. Cards from the 2000s, especially ones in nice condition like this, are heavily sought after, regardless of sport.

Set collectors unite!

I'm also taking some time today to hopefully wrap up some changes I thought I would get to last weekend, and didn't.

Here's some of the small fixes made:

• Header spacing standardization (here, here, + here)
• This new contract spreads to the daily chronicles

Got bored with cleanup tasks and decided that boredom could be solved by moving on to the cleanup task below: BOX-NINE-LIVES.

I'm back after I got bored with that cleanup task and returned back to this cleanup task and populated all of the available data elements needed for tcdb trades to maximize it's current potential.

I just asked chatgpt to build me the plan to reshape that very same tcdb trades app. While I wait for the bot to think, I'll hop back over to the cards referenced next.

Bot thought for 5 minutes, coded for 30 minutes, and then we went back and forth for a good hour before we settled on the look and feel of the trade detail page. See 946574 as an example.

It's now a creative mix of the database backend and the content that I generate daily in these chronicles. Same data, new idea, different context, and I kinda like how it turned out.

So noice in fact, that I'm going to add links to my trades content onto my TCDb profile page and increase my audience size.

To close the day's work, I used the same rusted red color from the details page, and tcdb itself, and applied that styling to both homies + tcdb trades.
