🃏cardattack release log

In my third deal with Greg discover/remember we have a washington football team and capitals fan. Frequent readers will know this means it's time to check in what my collection for each looks like......

• washington football team, football [6969th] 🆕 (266 cards)
• washington capitals, football [6969th] 🆕 (211 cards)

For those newer to the party, 6969 means that I am unranked on tcdb (only the top 1000 are tracked). Niiice. Amirite?

Overall, a fun and diverse PWE both ways.

So here's the thing about my first deal with Anthony, when I log the return package I think he'll be the first HOF member inducted on his first transaction.

In other words......it's on like donkey kong.

One more small deal before we pack it up for the night and it is with another first-timer, Anthony.

The return package will put our new pal Anthony into the tullyelly hof. Clutch as they come.

Amidst all of everything else, I gotta stay on top of outbound trades now that I'm back at home base. Let's start with Kerry in our thirteenth deal.

• philadelphia eagles, football [6969th] ↔️ (243 cards)
• oregon ducks, football [859th] 🆕 (7 cards)

As I populate trade partners, and I log and trade them their favorite teams as well as players, I also log my snapshots against the same. It's a fun way to progress my database naturally.

Kerry came in clutch when I showed up for a favor.

Let's sneak out another trade before I get into the meat of today's chronicle ideation.

• 2000-01 Topps Heritage, basketball (10/233; 4.3%)
• 2017 Upper Deck Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Walmart/Hanes, non-sport (1/50; 2%)
• 2024 Upper Deck Marvel Allegiance Secret Wars, non-sport (2/90; 2.2%)

If I can turn buffalo bills cards into marvel and basketball cards? Imma do that deal all day, err day.

As I work my way through whatever this adventure is: I make plans, I break plans, and I constantly chase plans. No matter how slow you have to take things, there always seems a need to go even slower. Except, everything around you is moving the opposite direction and speeding up. All of that to say, I'm glad to get back to receiving some trades in because I'm very much behind.

Okay, this got way deeper than it should for a cardattack section. Let's pivot back to a what brought us here - hell of a deal with Mike.

Shouts to teemu (& kariya), as well as the mighty ducks, along side groot, wolverine, and even america's ass (oops, I forgot to orient the first photo).

To close the evening of trades we have a returning customer, Dean, in deal number two.

In this case I made the offer and Dean noted he's been eyeing a deal with me because there's a soccer card I have (not anymore) that will close out a set for him. I was his last best hope.

Glad to be of service.

Well, well lookey there. Another first timer in Rick. ravishingrick is a hell of a screen name.

My Canadian pal stopped by looking for some hockey cards and after a brief negotiation he gets said hockey cards.

PS......Rick would appear to be fan of goalies.

Speaking of easy peasy just accept the offer types, next up we have Travis in deal number......oh, our first! Newcomers who show up with a good offer is life.

I couldn't find a card, we had a clean back and forth to adjust the deal without issue, and out the door goes one more.

I'm about to go on a few adventures so I need to cram some trades out the door tonight.

To stay ahead of that curve we will start with my fourth deal with Bruce. Bruce came with a strong offer and James accepted strong offer. I like when a no brainer yes shows up at my doorstep.

We'll close the evening with my fifth deal with Bernie which was large enough that we had to spread it out across 2 PWEs.

There's a bunch of set collecting fun stuffed in these envelopes.

Bernie's a solid dude.

How about a detour to our friends from up north? My first deal with Ted is a bit of a banger.

Three numbered cards heading out the door typically means some fun on its way back.

Nice negotiation to boot.

If you were around last week, you know that I was playing with puzzles quite a bit. Well, that activity brought Tim out of the woodwork looking for a few of my extra pieces.

Shouts to hank and puzzle makers like Tim!

Time to get ahead of a few trades before the week washes over me.

In my eight deal with Rich, it time to log my snaphots against each of his favorite teams, the phillies & eagles. Unsurprisingly, I'm unranked for both.

Glad to be of service.
