Feb 27, 2026: draft
eeeeeeeemma, corbin, nikkigirl, and I had dinner with corbin's parents to discuss the possibility of him moving in with us in the fall. The plan is for him to join the apprentice program at [redacted] where I work, to move in with us to be closer to the job, and save some coin while avoiding student debt.
No matter how many people end up leaving here, we always seem to keep finding people to replace them. I'm using the term "we" very loosely. lol
We ended up at Draft Gastropub, and had a nice meal with some nice folks. Personal ratings:
- nikkigirl = 7.5
- unclejimmy = 7.0
- eeeeeeeemma = 7.8
- corbin = [pending]
eeeeeeeemma says:
7.8/10 pretty good, not quite an 8. The risotto was pretty good but it was all very rich, and not a lot to change it up. I had to drink a lot of water 😮💨
Finally, to answer lulu 's question from yesterday in the comments, it's because I don't want to use real names here for privacy purposes. Check out george for more information.
