May 05, 2026: el paso chihuahuas

What a day today was (so far). The meeting I came half way across the country to participate in was immediately kneecapped by the key speaker being sick so I started the day wondering if the trip was worth it.

Well yeah, shit stain, of course it was worth it. I received an excellent tour of a facility I've never been too before, I got facetime and built some rapport with one of my keyest stakeholders, and then by accident ended up sitting next to the person that delivered me a solution to my current biggest pain point on a silver platter. Mike Wazowski would be proud.

What I learned this morning, was quite literally exactly what I needed for an all hands type meeting in the afternoon. Each lesson learned stacks upon the last so well that you couldn't simulate it this well. lol
