May 05, 2026: el paso chihuahuas

What a day today was (so far). The meeting I came half way across the country to participate in was immediately kneecapped by the key speaker being sick so I started the day wondering if the trip was worth it.

Well yeah, shit stain, of course it was worth it. I received an excellent tour of a facility I've never been too before, I got facetime and built some rapport with one of my keyest stakeholders, and then by accident ended up sitting next to the person that delivered me a solution to my current biggest pain point on a silver platter. Mike Wazowski would be proud.

I learn something every day that's life altering at this point. Every. Single. Day. scroll amendment · 2026-05-05Okay, hyperbole much? Let's say it's short of every delay. Often though. Often.

What I learned this morning, was quite literally exactly what I needed for an all hands type meeting in the afternoon. Each lesson learned stacks upon the last so well that you couldn't simulate it this well. lol

All of this while I'm being humbled with how unprepared I am to be in a hard hat environment. Good thing mom and dad were there to get me all dressed up appropriately. It's pathetic. lulz

Who gives a fuck though? I've got the Budweiser Bullpen to help me drown my shame in.

Laterz.

Laterz here.

Got my free weiners, drank my two free beers, scored some useless crap for squad to show 'em they are loved, and now I'm back at the temporary crib about to deploy this to you.

Good night.
