In spite of my social anxiety, I showed up at the airport this morning all the same.

I thought about stealing those Pokemon from ATW, I really did. If for nothing else than that container. Appleton --> Denver --> El Paso. Safe and sound.

Turns out the guy I came here to see is violently ill and at the very least, less available than planned. They are going to have to pull something out of their ass tomorrow. I bet they are going through it right now.

File that under: not my problem.

Texas forever. At least until Thursday.

One of my newest favorite things to do when traveling is to find the local card shops, even the one's found in malls across America. First up today J&M Sports Cards & Toy Collectibles.

Look at me in a mall. Yippee. Halfway decent mall if I'm being honest.

There was a TON of fun stuff in the store. Not a whole lot of sports cards though, regardless of the name. No boxes to sit and sift through. No giannis to be found.

As such, pretty disappointing 6.6 out of a possible 10.

+0.6 added because I found some primetime and set collecting fodder.

Of the two card shops I planned to hit up today, this was the one I thought would be the banger of the two. I was......underwhelmed.

The caitlin is fun, I might have scored a slight deal on the beat to shit jordan, and still, I didn't have all that much fun. I saw tables and had hopes for boxes. My hopes were dashed. Plus, no giannis to be found.

Not a great shop for a set collector like me. 6 out of a possible 10.
