May 03, 2026: social anxiety
I travel to Texas for work tomorrow. I've never met anyone. I've never been there before.
The days leading up to stuff like this just drives me nuts. Every little thing is magnified. There's basically nothing to be anxious about and yet, here I am all the same.
I hate it.
I told nikkigirl on Friday that 1996-1998 basketball was causing trouble and it was about to go down. The re-org has been minor hotfixes here or there, and no more. Time to bite the bullet and sort all of my basketball going back to 1971.
We'll see how long it takes - probably not too long. Hopefully.

Basically, it's all t-mac's fault this popped off. He's got a lot of cards in the baskeball years that were becoming a tighter and tighter fit. If the right, wrong, year starts to overflow - it's time to move cards from box to box. It's always something around here keeping me busy.

You'll have to trust me when I say this this detour relates the the re-org journey, because it does. Additionally, I've been holding onto some of this primetime stuff since I hit up ORIGINALS Mall of Antiques. Finding a new home for my deion box was a good excuse to also find and process a few magazines I found there a month or so ago.
To wrap it up, I took a new toy out of the box so that I could play with it. coach's Starting Lineup collection is starting to take shape. I love these ugly little guys.
I made my way through about a quarter of my basketball set collector boxes, maybe approaching a third.
Anywho, I've been much more disciplined when it comes to processing my basketball cards to get them into the current process, workflow, and overall idea. This big push is one half of the overall journey I've been on for going on 2 years now. It's a sllllooooowwwwwwww process, but I ain't got nothing but time.
It gets better almost every day.
Before we go, gotta clean up the outbound trades I owe to somebody, starting with CJ.
