Oct 09, 2026: liberation
It dawned on me today that all of my most difficult challenges today, soon won't be mine no mo. There's a groundswell of liberation washing over me as a result. Now, it's not like I won't be one step away to help, but it's a bit of a relief and I wonder what a bit of relief will do to the ideas.
Glass half empty: the challenges, no matter how new, will soon pile up and overwhelm in short order.
When I got home to fern today, he must have found a bunch of dessert that was left over from a nice breakfast today. Here's the thing with this guy and I, he loves to chew on my face and I love to let him. It's disgusting, his breath is terrible, and it makes me feel very uncomfortable.
I love it all the same.
Once he's tired of gnawing on my beard we have developed a new option within our routine: he lays on my shoulder and across my face while I hum and sing to him. It's quite zen. So zen we ended up taking a nap together.
