Ever since vomitspit I've had DOOM on my mind. If you combine that with the fact that every day I report to [redacted] it feels like DOOMsday and we land on today's chronicle title.

It's part me going mad. It's part me feeling like going full super villain. It's part me reminding myself that there's a way to go about this without being the bad guy. It's part me realizing that I need to form a superteam. It's part remembering not to take myself too seriously......

That's a spoiler alert from later in the chronicle though. Shout out to george as this alter ego's namesake. lulz

Plus, at lunchtime this fuckin' guy says: yo, play with my purple dinosaur and stop taking yourself so damn serious.

To wrap it up, nikkigirl came home just in time to see me stair off into outer space. VERY intensely. 🫠

My age 48 season has been absolutely wild so far. I'm holding on by the seat of my pants all day, err day.

I haven't been this deep in thought for a hot minute. This is both an indicator that I am starting to feel better and also a symptom of the pure, unadulterated, frustration I experienced today. I'm at my wits end.

Good news: I do my best work while at my wits end.

Here's the thing though - it feels like I'm trying to solve this puzzle by first having to learn the accordion. Here I am pulling and pushing, while also trying to play the piano as I ride on my clownish unicycle.

Or something.
