Jun 07, 2026: silent reflection
I'm too far inside my own mind at this point. As noted in my recap on Friday, that silent reflection started Friday afternoon, and has not ceased in the meantime. I often find myself trapped upstairs fumbling around in the darkness, simply trying to find my way out.
Not sure how I'll go about it, but something needs to be shaken up this week. I've realized that I need to humble myself, re-open myself back up to the universe, and let what happens next emerge naturally. Trust those around me. They will show me the right way forward.
scroll amendment · 2026-06-07nikkigirl just turned to me and asked: are you alright over there? When I get too deep inside my own head, you can audibly hear it. My Mind Playing Tricks On Me, if you will. Not so silent with my reflection after all. lulzAll the while I battle myself against myself, card sorting continues; today we pick the stack back up by logging some inbound cards.
- sterling sharpe, [15th] ↗️ (238 cards)
- 1993 SkyBox X-Men Series 2, non-sport (33/100; 33%)
- 2013 Rittenhouse Game of Thrones Season 2, non-sport (2/88; 2.3%)
So much going on in this 43 card trade. Lots of major hits in the areas outside of my normal basketball focus. This silver surfer set is sneaky high on my favorite sets list and I've barely made a dent in it so far. From there: marvel, game of thrones, a brief appearance by f1, and one of my all-time favorite humans sterling sharpe......if I had more time, I'd bend your ear (eyeballs here) with stories for all of it. Only so much time in the day.
Great trade. Well spent hour.
