Apr 12, 2026: timeout

What is a bit more exciting is the tooling I added around the LEGO idea. Now I can track any additions to the adventure directly into the site, and perhaps, it will spark me to play with toys more.

Anywho, hit up bricks to see the beginnings of another branch off the idea tree. And if you didn't already, scroll back up and hit those links in the footer of the last ReleaseSection to see a bit more of the new functionality.

Iterate.

First trade going out the door today is also by our first repeat customer since I started logging my transactions here. 963185 👈🏾 check out the first deal, if you are the curious type.

Lotta 2019-20 Hoops going out the door, plus a little bit and this or that. That lamelo RC was one of the first cards I ever ripped (since returning to "the hobby") that had some heat to it. Those days are long gone. lamelo

If kobe is going out the door, some 🔥🔥 must be on its way back.

Glad to have Aaron back again. This brings us up to half a dozen deals.

This is a surprisingly fun mail day. Typically, I wouldn't associate many Classic sets, including this 1993 Classic Draft Picks set, with fun.

• 🏀 1993 Classic Draft Picks (110/110; 💯)

This particular deal closes out this Classic set: 100% completed. Additionally, the checklist is surprisingly deep. It's also one of those sets that is so ugly, I end up liking it because of how striking and obvious what set it is when you look at it.

Don't sleep on this one is what I'm trying to say. I look forward to adding this one to a binder.

PS......the fab 5 was one of the coolest teams of all time - another reason this set is sneaky nice.

Thank you, Pete.

Speaking of cool: chris webber was probably the coolest basektball player in the world, pre-timeout at least. The team, his game, and that particular political climate were all fantastic. There's even a world where he wins the national championship, embraces Nelly Ball with the warriors, and ends up being on the all-time list of cool. Not just a flash in the pan cool.

• chris webber, [123rd] 🆕 (102 cards)

Alas, he didn't. He called that timeout and everything changed. I'm also not opposed to making my divider cards incredibly slanderous if they should be.

As I was cleaning up his area of the collection and putting him where he belongs, I realized that I don't know exactly where all of these 1993 Classic Draft Picks are. I have a sneaking suspicion I know where they are though......another mission for another time.

Let's catch up on a quick hitter and get another deal out the door for Marc.

I forgot to snap a photo before packing this one up, so here's the other card that went out the door here: 2024 Topps Holiday #H41 Brent Rooker.

Quick and clean out the door. Looks like our first deal together too!

Welcome aboard.

Here another deal that ended up started by me making an offer as I chase the end of the 2023-24 Panini Mosaic.

Nice to have Brandon back for our fourth deal together. Helpful and additional fun coming back on the return.

Time to close out a quick one from Paul.

• 2004-05 Topps, 92 of 249 cards (36.9%)

I'll add some Topps to the collection, all day, err day.

• 1993-94 Fleer, 360 of 400 cards (90%)

This was the card I was chasing as I come within the last few handfuls of completing this set. As luck would have it, doc was fired today. Shoulda never been hired, should have never been brought into this season, and he'll spin this like he wasn't fired.

Long overdue.

Last deal we will process today is a deal for Scott heading out the door. Another first timeer in the house.

This outgoing batch of cards is again in service of chasing the end of the 2023-24 Panini Mosaic set. I'm nothing, if not persistent.

Kind of a fun batch heading out.

Welcome aboard.
