Aug 06, 2026: dr. jones

Today started as one of those grind it out days - digging in the weeds. Sometimes frustrated. Sometimes inspired. Rarely pleasant.

Today ended as one of those days that could be considered a full level up. My relationship building is both imperfect, and paying long-term dividends at the same damn time.

Let's pause for a quick shout out to jeff meff. He's been a regular human being this week and getting up at a reasonable time every day. You know how these fucking teenagers can be. Odd hours, absolutely insane life decisions, and generally speaking, not giving a fuck (at least the good ones).

Anywho, he's been up and at 'em, ready to help out with fern all week. With Menasha still being mostly shut down, it's hard for me to be home every day and hear our puppy dogg sad about being locked up in Alcatraz all day while I'm forced to suffer through work. mr. meff has made sure that nobody feels incarcerated all week long.

I love them both, dearly.

We will close with the dufus content mentioned earlier.

I closed the evening, well besides this closer here, by watching Raiders of the Lost Ark. Because this movie came out when I was 3 years old and I've been it's target audience (idiot boy) the entire time, it feels like this movie is one of my first memories. One of these indiana jones movies at least.

It's so ridiculous. It's also seared onto my brain.
