Sep 04, 2026: out the trunk
I decided to sneak a four day weekend into the mix so with no george to get in the way, I decided to head over to a local card shop and to have a quick visit with an old friend.

Before we get to the old pal - while I was waiting for him at the shop, I hit up the bucks box. I found twenty eight bits of fun tucked away just waiting for me to scoop 'em up.
Great shop. Probably my favorite for a few different reasons.
One of those reasons? The aforementioned wiscopullz. I connected with him on their discord and have been a loyal, if sometimes flakey, customer for a hot minute now. He hooks me up with bulk on the cheap and I hook him up with capital. Our LCS is the spot to do bidness.
While derek is my bestest friend to have given me a decent chunk of my collection, wiscopullz has to be in the overall lead of total cards acquired from one individual. Right now, I'm at 124,076 cards loaded on the site and after this batch, I'll be near 140k cards (guesstimate). All that to say, I bet 30k, if not more, are straight from wiscopullz.
It's been too long old friend.
PS......I been telling you I flip bricks internationally, and now I'm here to tell you I flip bricks out the trunk too.
PSS......a shit ton of work just showed up. Eek.
If I ever feel guilty with just how selfish I can be, it's when fern is in the house and I am not there for him. Here I am off visiting my favorite spots, connecting with an old pal, and he's home. Suffering.

Before we get to the fun of sorting, logging, and othewise discovering what is in the four boxes of cards I just acquired......is more puzzle action. The last puzzle action (for now).
There's at least five more puzzle pieces around here somewhere. A tale for another day. Probably not tho.
Today was a day for random music. As part of that random playlist, consecutive songs built a narrative in my head and for you here, my audience. These songs played back-to-back-to-back while I was on highway fourty-one earlier today.

The depth I could take the idea of mind games is a deep......uh......depth. If you are a loyal reader you know by now that I'm always playing mind games. Mostly with myself. You might also have noted I need you help me pull myself out of it every once in awhile.

I could take this time to note just how much of a woman can be unlocked simply by exploring her thoughts......but alas, my children are present.
Instead, we move on to the next.
I can't escape myself. As a direct counter measure to me always being there, I build myself up to be calm. I am calm. I am calm because I build myself up to be. This wall is high enough to prevent you from seeing the chaos within.
