I need to start logging some of the trades I've received over the past few weeks or as that stack grows, it will overwhelm me. I've been here before. ๐ซ
We are going to only get to one today, but it's also an all bucks deal. Me likey. Donny has been a fantastic trade partner over the years, and deal number thirteen together is no different.
Hey, new guy logged into my database. Looks like I might be close enough to second place that I should try to move up the list......only so much time in the day though.
Only so much time in the Todd Day, if you will. lulz
What comes next is getting a trade out the door for Jason with our fourth deal together.
A couple of brady cards going out the door is always note worthy. Nothing groundbreaking is coming back in return, but it's still a fun one.
I pride myself on my pragmatic approach to trading (๐). If you stop by with an offer, I'm going to do everything in my power to accept as is or with minimal changes. I could haggle at the sight of two tom brady being requested, any yet, if it's even close to a fair deal, you my dear trade partner, get priority.
We've started to go to grocery shopping at Walmart for a few reasons. First, it's inexpensive. Second, there are lots of cards to be found. Gives me an excuse to browse. I browse much more than I buy.
Today, I snagged a hali tin. Here's another reminder that I used to be his number one collector on the site. Might have to start up a mission to rise up the charts again.
It also looks like I gotta hit up the post office to collect some mail. ๐
I gotta use the holiday weekend to stay ahead of some trades!
First up, gonzaga fan, Dustin. This is our third deal together and is one of those deals that I immediately accept because it's clear how much these specific cards speak to the individual on the other end.
Here's an off ramp from the stories of life that were produced from today into my card collection.
Let's take a moment to focus on Robert. He asked me what was taking me so long in closing out his deal, and he's totally right. If I discover that I fuck up your rhythm and process, I'm going to close out the deal the same day it's requested. Oh, you ready? Me too.
I came to this trade searching for a way to go from the third most priminent lee mayberry collector to the second. With this, plus a few other deals, I acheived my goal.
It will be much harder to get to number one.
The rest of the interesting set collector chases:
Robert came through clutch across multiple fronts and here I am appreciating his patience with me.
Gotta get a fairly big deal all packed up and ready to go.
A whole bunch of hornets going out the door to my bestest charlotte correspondant across the globe. This is my eighth deal with a French partner, Wilfried.
There's a lot of ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ in this outbound package. That must mean some heat on the way back.
Nice quick stop at the post office today. You wanna know how I am a patriot? My pure, unadulterated love for our postal service and the lovely postal workers that keep it afloat.
I'll go postal on any MFer who fucks with my peoples.
I've been working on this next portion of the project since October 28th,
2025. If you were awesome enough to click the link, you'll see that date holds significance for a few different reasons now.
Before we get into the meat of it, that's a brief pitstop into one of my binders. If the winding adventure touches a binder, we document it here. Even if I'm the only one this makes any sense too.
Woah, I asked the robot to spit out some code today. It's been at least a month since I have generated any code here because I just don't wanna. Well not that I don't wanna, I just don't have enough to where I actually wanna. Even now, I'll leave the new features as is, with minimal input, because I don't have the capacity to care.
Outside of the need to action the current idea's path. I must complete the mission. Even when I don't know the full mission scope.
Anywho, new features added to the site. If you head over to Homies, you'll see some stuff (if you are curious). In summary:
I haven't had any place to capture how many cards I have for any given team, so out pops the wu-tang clans story. I can now track my favorite teams (clans) as well as players (homies).
This code change was needed for more reasons than one. We are temporarily back on track. As a result here are the first two clans added today (No bucks yet):
All of this circles back to this new box.
As noted earlier, I've been working on this box since October. I've gained a certain clarity of purpose since then. Plus a quick freak update:
Iterate.
PS......shouts to bonnibel for that dolphin snow globe. It's come in handy along the way.
