Apr 25, 2026: garbage collector
As I work through trades, I often forget what I've even traded for by the time it shows up at my door. Today would not be any different.

This Topps set is one of the few sets - outside of those within the 2020-21 milwaukee bucks championship season window - where I'm chasing every last card. Usually I only casually collect outside of the base set because the idea of getting every last card is impossible. While still impossible in this case, there's a fuck ton of this product out there and I'm curious just how much of it I can get my hands on.

Somehow, one of those michael jordan cards led me down a clean-up rabbit hole that had me consolidating the garbage I collect into some boxes. It's always boxes with this guy.
Long story short; I've been keeping the envelopes from all of my trade partners (garbage collector) for awhile now and it just became time to invent a box to hold them. That led to some coloring of gay rainbows. Shouts to the gays.
This box is also fun to me for a few reasons, examples: jeff meff + effective immediately.
The main reason though? jeff meff and I have a cold war going. This war centers around WHO gets the boxes from the cool shoes that he gets (most of which are supplied by me). He lost another battle with this box, but not before he autographed it for me.
Great kid. The boxes are mine. GTFOH
I'm now up to 48 database migration files. While it is not a particularly interesting number in and of itself, it is interesting to take a moment to note just how much of this site is now database driven. SQL is now 5.7% of the files in the repo, per GitHub. Ish.
Today's database change comes with the addition of Hall of Famers to my tcdb infrastructure. Basically, if you (trade partner) send me a card or cards that close out a set, you are inducted into my own personal HOF. Check out the TCDb Trade Hall of Fame route for the first handful of examples.
