May 21, 2026: twelve jewels
I couldn't sleep last night. I've been meaning to fill my team in on a few speakers I saw last Friday and provide them a few takeways I pulled from them.
This was the result of a lack of sleep and an idea I couldn't get out of my head at 3:30 this morning. I let my team know that I left work every day this week with an empty tank. I also let them know how we can be there for each other.
It was a bit corny.
After I dropped off nikkigirl at work (eeeeeeeemma's car is in the shop again and she's got my car), I crawled back in bed and watched the following video. I've written about these Twelve Jewels before.
wu-tang forever.
I said, "A wise man don't play the role of a fool
The first thing a man must obtain is twelve jewels
Knowledge, wisdom, understanding to help you achieve
Freedom, justice, equality, food, clothing, and shelter
After this, love, peace, and happiness"
